The brief
A courtyard designed for unamplified voice, a household that wanted the tradition performed rather than reinterpreted, and 750 guests to seat, feed and move through a heritage precinct.
What we did
The programme followed the historical sequence advised by the household's own archivist. The choir performed unamplified from the position the courtyard was built for; discreet reinforcement covered only the rear terraces. Florals were carried in silver rather than fixed to the walls.
What it delivered
The evening ran to the archivist's order of ceremony, and the precinct was returned the following morning with no intervention to the fabric.
