The brief
Venice allows heavy deliveries only by water and only in short permit windows, the family's chosen palazzo is a protected building where nothing may be drilled or hung from historic fabric, and the celebration had to move guests between three venues by boat each evening.
What we did
Mahogany landing barges were fabricated on the mainland and floated into position inside ninety-minute nightly permit windows. Lighting was commissioned from a single Murano furnace and colour-matched to the palazzo's seventeenth-century plaster; every suspension point was a reversible tension rig agreed with the conservation board in advance. Guest movement ran on a timed water-taxi schedule with a concierge on each landing.
What it delivered
All three nights ran to schedule, the conservation board signed off the venue with no remedial work, and the family kept the commissioned glass. No delivery missed its permit window.
